		<description>Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the first person to get that I wasn&#039;t there to tell them how to fix newsrooms - I was there to make sure that people get that advertising has always been the backbone of the media industry.

We&#039;ve spent tens of thousands of dollars on online-only ads.  So have political campaigns, local department stores, auto dealerships, and all those other stalwarts of yesterday&#039;s newspapers.  These people need to make content that isn&#039;t just repurposed online (what I called &quot;crap&quot;); they need to make content that fits the new medium.</description>
